Mushroom Foraging & Wild Food Cooking
Get the taste of the wild in your diet this October!
All our Autumn foraging takes place on Tiger Hill near the village of Bures in the heart of rural Suffolk and focuses on the huge range of fungi from the wonderfully named Earth Stars to Chicken of the Woods.
You will spend a full morning walking through ancient woodland as our plantsman expert Matthew Rooney and Suffolk chef Carl Shillingford share their knowledge, showing where, when and what to look for amidst a broad selection of fungi. After the forage you will decamp to an award winning rural Suffolk pub where Carl will set up a field kitchen and turn your foraged finds into delicious lunchtime treats.
Every forager receives a Goodie Bag to include recipes, a foraging calendar, and a selection of wild food products including dried mushrooms, wild soup and sour dough bread.
Tickets cost £75 (including booking fee).Dates may be transferable after booking but only with 6 weeks' notice.
All of our foraging events sell out out so please book quickly to avoid disappointment.
