Mushroom foraging & Cooking Demo

You will spend the morning with foraging expert and trained chef, Carl Shillingford and expert botanist Matthew Rooney, who will lead the forage through ancient woodland near the village of Bures. After a full morning outdoors, you will head to the warmth and comfort of Lavenham Village Hall (Church Street, Lavenham CO10 9QT) where the award winning farmers market will be in full flow. An hour long cooking demonstration will take place upstairs, in a private room, using your foraged finds. There will be plenty of chances to feast on deliciously tasty samples and ask lots of questions before receiving a Goodie Bag filled with recipes, a foraging calendar, and a selection of wild food products including dried mushrooms, wild soup and sour dough bread.
Tickets cost £75 (including booking fee, foraging, cooking demo and goodie bag) and we have a handful of spaces left. Dates may be transferable after booking but only with 6 weeks' notice.
