Long Melford Farmers Market

We are really excited to be bringing a fantastic farmers' market back to this gorgeous Suffolk village, on the second Saturday of every month.

I remember, about ten years ago, I visited the farmers' market that was held in the village and it was packed full of stalls and happy customers but sadly, over the years, trade dwindled, the management changed and the doors finally closed a couple of years ago. So, if you know Suffolk Market Events then you'll know how much we love the challenge of bringing a dead market back to life and so it is time to throw open the windows, sweep up the floorboards and fill Long Melford Village Hall with the smells, tastes and colours of a really good farmers' market!

We have lots of fabulous small scale local producers ready to join us including Yum Yum Tree Fudge, Cambridge cider from Brooks and Conquest, award winning meat from Heath Farm, Suffolk honey, wild boar sausage rolls and charcuterie, award winning bread from Wooster's, gorgeous plants from Bellflower Nursery, local pork from Maypole, handmade candles from The White Candle Company and beautiful cards and cushions from Button Love.

Everything that is sold at this market will be produced by the person who is selling and all has been produced locally.

We are still accepting applications from more stallholders and in particular we are looking for raw milk and cream, East Anglian cheeses, local jams and chutneys and fresh vegetables. Pitch fees are £25 per month.  If you are interested in joining us in Long Melford then please email Angie and we will get an application pack sent out to you - angie@suffolkmarketevents.co.uk
