Suffolk Market Events brings top quality Farmers’ Markets along to some of the region’s most popular events

Everything that is sold at the markets at the one-off annual events we take part in is produced by the person who is selling it, and every producer will have travelled less than fifty miles to be at the event – every market, no matter where the location, is genuinely local.

We are now taking bookings for our one off events for 2017 and so if you are a local producer and you'd like to join us, please do get your application form in soon in order to guarantee your place.

Suffolk Market Events has been brought on board to take the lead role in organising the 2017 Taste of Sudbury and we are delighted to announce that bookings are now open for this fantastic event, held in the centre of town on Sunday June 11th from 10am - 4pm and aimed at celebrating, promoting and showcasing the very best producers, restaurants, chefs and food industries that we are so lucky to have in the region. 

If you would like to take part in this celebration of fabulous local food, then please download and return the booking form to Suffolk Market Events together with payment and required documents. Please note that payment is to Suffolk Market Events and not Babergh (as in previous years) and all the information you should require is on the attached form.

As a stallholder you will feature in the event brochure, the website (www.tasteofsudbury.co.uk) and in targeted marketing campaigns in the run up to the event, however if you would like information on additional exposure through sponsorship please do get in touch.

Suffolk Market Events is delighted to once again be a part of this fantastic outdoor swimming event and bookings are now being taken for stalls in the Farmers' Market/Food Village area.

Held at Alton Water reservoir near Ipswich, the Great East Swim is the UK's largest outdoor swimming event attracting over 4,000 swimmers with familes and friends, who enjoy a day out by the water.

We are now looking for top quality stalls, selling a range of delicious food and handmade crafts, to make up the 2017 Farmers' Market/Food Village area.

Pitches cost just £65 plus 10% of takings from food concessions (i.e. food that is cooked/prepared and sold for immediate consumption such as burgers, hot dogs, tea and coffee). This extra charge is payable after the event.  There is no charge for electricity at this event.

This two day event is a must in any Foodie Calendar and we are now taking applications for next years event which takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 27th and 28th) on Angel Hill in the centre of Bury St Edmunds.

Applications can only be accepted from food producers and ideally you must be from within a 50 mile radius of Bury St Edmunds and have been involved in the production process.

Stalls cost £85 per day and there is an additional fee for electricity.

As part of the four day Annual Christmas Street Fayre, Suffolk Market Events takes along a top quality farmers' market to The Buttermarket in the centre of this fantastic market town.

The events is attended by over 80,000 people and the farmers market is now one of the highlights. We have a limited number of spaces available and the spaces are getting booked so if you would like to join us in 2017, please do get the booking form and payment back to Suffolk Market Events as soon as you can.

Pitches cost £140 and you will need a strong, weather resistant gazebo at the event.
